Did you know June is Child Hunger Month? Almost 18 million children across America depend on school lunches for their only dependable meal of the day. But when school lets out, most of them go hungry. The Summer Food Service Program is designed to provide healthy, reliable meals for hungry children, but unfortunately, it’s only reaching 2 million children. Visit www.hungeractioncenter.org/childhunger to learn more about child hunger and what you can do to help raise awareness of and support for this important program.
